Adolescenceisatimeofrapidchange,bothphysicalandemotional.Itisajourneythateveryonemusttake,anditisrarelyaneasyone.Forme,thisjourneybeganinearnestonesummer,whenIsuddenlyfoundmyselfgrowingupfasterthanIevercouldhaveimagined.Intheweeksandmonthsthatfollowed,IlearnedmoreaboutmyselfandtheworldaroundmethanIeverhadbefore.Thisisthestoryofthattime.

Itallstartedwithagrowthspurt.Oneday,IwokeupandrealizedthatIwastallerthanIhadbeenthedaybefore.Myclothesnolongerfitquiteright,andIfeltstrangelyoutofplaceinmyownbody.ItwasasifIhadwokenupinastranger'sskin.

Ofcourse,therewerestillmomentsofconfusionanduncertainty.ButIknewthatthesewereallpartoftheprocess.AslongasIkeptmovingforward,Iwouldeventuallyfindmyway.

Lookingbackonthattimenow,IrealizehowmuchIhavegrown.IamadifferentpersonthanIwasbackthen,butinmanyways,Iamstillthesame.

Ihavelearnedtoembracechange,towelcomeitasanaturalpartoflife.AndIhavelearnedthatnomatterwhathappens,therearealwayspeoplewholoveandsupportme.

Adolescenceisajourneythatwemustalltake.Itisatimeofgrowthanddiscovery,ofpainandjoy.Butitisalsoatimeofwonderandpossibility.Andifweembraceitwithanopenheartandmind,wewillemergestrongerandwiserontheotherside.
